At The Sussex Downs Fertility Centre we have a specialist team who are all experienced in the management and delivery of fertility care with local knowledge and experience in the area for over 30 years in Eastbourne, Worthing, Brighton and Sussex. Our team are very approachable and supportive of patients who are undergoing the stressful burden associated with fertility treatment.

Our team is well versed with the latest advances in fertility treatments and consists of consultants who are experts in the field of reproductive medicine. Their knowledge and dedication has resulted in The Sussex Downs Fertility Centre’s high level of performance and success rates over several years.

Mrs Kuljit Moore-Juneja

CEO

Kuljit is the CEO of the organisation and has over 15 years experience in Healthcare Management in both the private and NHS sectors. She is responsible for overseeing the service, standards and development. Kuljit is passionate about delivering excellent healthcare services.

Mike Annan

Human Resources Manager

Mike is an experienced manager with over 20 years experience in management, operations and development. His experience covers the finance, retail and the banking sector. Mike is responsible for the management of the team and the operations of the centre, he is passionate about delivering excellent patient services and care.

Helen Brown

Finance Manager

With over 30 years’ progressive experience in management, administration and finance in various industries. Possessing a highly developed company administration centred philosophy and constantly within the workplace demonstrating and achieving a high level of personal and professional standards.

Mr David Chui

Consultant, Clinic Director & HFEA Person Responsible

Mr Chui is a Consultant Gynaecologist with over 26 years experience in treating fertility patients. His subspecialty interests are in Reproductive Medicine including treatments of IVF and other advanced assisted conception therapies. Mr Chui is a senior consultant and person responsible in the centre.

Daniel Spiller

Quality Manager

Daniel has more than 6 years of experience in quality management across a range of sectors, including aviation and pharmaceuticals. He is responsible for ensuring high quality standards and protocols within the centre as well as regulatory compliance.

Kelly Stephen-Martin

Finance Director

Kelly is an experienced Fellow Chartered Accountant with experience in various sectors including banking, insurance and healthcare. Kelly is responsible for financial governance, reporting and strategy. She is passionate about customer service and delivery.

Ms Despina Mavridou

Fertility Consultant

Ms Despina Mavridou is an experienced consultant gynaecologist who works at The Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust and has fertility experience at The Kings Fertility Centre.

Mr Graham Watson

Consultant Urologist

Mr Graham Watson developed the first laser to treat renal stones. Since then he has built up a Stone Centre in Eastbourne. Mr Watson specialises in fertility / infertility and assisted conception; laser surgery, and prostate disease including prostate cancer. At The Sussex Downs Centre, he is available for consultations and performs the surgical sperm retrieval procedure.

Mr Osama Naji

Consultant Gynaecologist

Mr Osama Naji is a consultant gynaecologist working in central London, his clinical interests include early pregnancy, subfertility, and diagnostic imaging. He cares passionately about evidence-based medicine and is an advocate for the better understanding of the challenges facing reproductive health.

He worked in prestigious central London hospitals including Guy’s and St Thomas’,St Mary’s and the Hammersmith. He is a member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and he holds a medical research doctorate from Imperial College London. He published over 30 research papers, presented at many national and international conferences, and won awards for teaching and research.

Hasmukh Joshi

Lab Manager

Started IVF career back in 1987 while working in Bahrain. Trained by eminent scientist Prof Gerard Zailmaker in Rotterdam at Erasmus University, Holland.

Published many scientific papers while in Doha. Joined Homerton Fertility Centre, Homerton University Hospital and was Laboratory Manager for 11 years. Upgraded centre with latest equipment including 2 Embryoscopes. Also, pregnancy rate increased significantly.

Besides managing laboratory with 11 embryologists, undertook research projects under the supervision of Prof Roy Homburg and was involved in teaching of ACE and STP students. After long successful career, decided to call a day but could not stay at home, joined this fantastic fertility centre.

Melanie Collenette

Clinical Lead

Mel is a senior nursing manager with nearly 20 years experience working in infertility. She is fully competent in performing egg collections, embryo transfers, administration of conscious sedation and all aspects of fertility nursing. She has been a manager in a number of different clinics, most recently Care London and is experienced in both Quality Management and HFEA/CQC regulations. She is the Clinical Lead for the clinic.

Counsellors

Fertility counselling can help to support you through a range of issues, before, during or after your treatment. A Fertility counsellor understands what is involved in your treatment and offers you the time to talk over your options, concerns and feelings about the fertility path.

Pam Mather

Counsellor

Pam has worked within the field of fertilty as a counsellor for over 20 years.

I combine this with a wealth of experience within mental health to provide a holistic approach to individuals and couples who are on their fertility journey.

She aspires to provide a high quality service and is keen to enhance and develop the patient emotional pathway.

Caroline Darcy

Counsellor

Caroline has worked as a fertility counsellor in the NHS for over 20 years. She is a member of BACP, BICA and an accredited IPT therapist. Caroline offers therapeutic counselling to explore the impact infertility has on both couples and individuals. She also offers implications counselling exploring all aspects of sperm, egg and embryo donation.

Fertility counselling can help to support you through a range of issues, before, during or after your treatment. A Fertility counsellor understands what is involved in your treatment and offers you the time to talk over your options, concerns and feelings about the fertility path.

Our anesthetists are a group of senior consultant anaesthetists with a long history of providing anaesthetic services to The Sussex Downs Fertility Centre.
